Cycling for charity

Markus Hauser took off last Sunday, along with a whole gaggle of international roadbikers on the 2012 Transalp Tour, the German Rotary Club Villingen-Schwenningen Mitte charity tour.

They started in Villingen and will reach Bergamo in Italy sometime today – 8 June.  The group of cyclists are currently covering the last lapse of 280 km + across scenic Alpine settings and some grueling hill climbs. Spirits are high and they are all feeling fitter than ever, if a little exhausted!

Fitness however is not what this is all about as they are raising funds for the Dianino-Foundation, which supports families with children suffering from diabetes. So all our best wishes for the final pedal-push to Bergamo!
