Terrace culture

Watching the sun set from the terrace at the Viv has got to be part of life’s great pleasures – sitting back in one of their comfortable wicker chairs, sipping a local beer, there is nothing quite like it!

There is something to be said for the terrace culture here. Temperatures might be arctic but the air is so invigorating and the terraces are all designed to keep you snug whilst outdoors. Fluffy sheepskins are scattered on chairs, there are overhead heaters to toast you and generous fleecy blankets to tuck you in – frankly, you can’t resist going out and ruging up – and the views are certainly worth it.

Also, there is always something going down on a terrace here – the Roo Bar at the Hauser’s is promising live music and some delicious Bundner specialities to keep us entertained tomorrow night – worth another terrace trawl I would say…
