Saying goodbye to a Summer of Jazz

The final Jazz Brunch which was held, as ever, on the Hauser’s Roo Bar Terrace, almost got moved to a new venue for its last Sunday. We had been watching the clouds gathering on Saturday and the weather forecast was full of doom and gloom, so a plan was hatched to move is to it the Dracula Club.

As it turned out, right at the last minute, the decision was taken to chance it, and it was worth it, Sunday was bright and sunny and remained that way until late in the afternoon! A good job too as this was an extra special event, celebrating 21 years of Jazz Brunches.

Many of the people involved lined up and champagne was flowing – the award winning young musicians who played their hearts out and the sun shone on all of us! A perfect end to a Summer of Jazz –
