Clean water – a human right

Even when St Moritz was still in its infancy, with sledges carrying the new age tourists up to their destinations and the farmers worked high up in the mountains all year around, clean drinking water was plentiful.

In fact throughout Switzerland it is deemed a human right to make clean drinking water freely available. And it is delicious, crystal clear and ice cold. It was the very concept of making clean drinking water available which actually led to a new scheme whereby hotels and restaurants, such as Hauser’s now charge for their tap water and 100% of those funds go towards giving a small village in Thailand a sustainable water source – Baan Doi – Home and Healing Center for Children was chosen and is already benefitting from our delicious Swiss water – so all the more reason to drink up!
