Sunday Art

We took a Sunday drive forty minutes out of St Moritz to Val Bregaglia last Sunday, to immerse ourselves in some culture at the Bistro d’Arte…

The exhibition was filled with paintings by Bruno Ritter beautifully depicting his thirty years living and experiencing Val Bregaglia and Val Chiavenna as well as paintings by Franca Iseppi-Pool. Both show a remarkable portrayal of life and landscape from this area….

Meanwhile, still on the art trail, Giacometti’s master pieces can be seen in his home town of Stampa at Ciesa Granda, seen below….

IMAG1666His paintings of the area are vivid reminders of his deep passion for where he lived… from Stampa…

…. to lake Sils with Corvatch as a back drop…

… and of course his famous statues….
