Autumn wine

It is definitely heading towards those evenings when you start thinking about what warm, well rounded wine you are going to enjoy as you put your feet up after a day of hiking the mountains!

To find a good wine that perfectly complements the local food you don’t have to look much further than those the Hauser’s has sourced for our delight…

As per their Etichetta remit they  searched high and low to find the best quality wine at the least possible distance and their current recommendations are Liesch from Malans , Zanolari in Poschiavo  and Triacca – also in Poschiavo.

It probably has a lot to do with the required hardiness of the grape to thrive in a climate that is arctic in the Winter, these wines are both robust yet smooth and they have a warming quality that certainly keeps the late Autumn chills out. Next time you are here do try out a glass and judge for yourself!
